The following pages include details of practical hints and tips are the largest practical reference section on the Internet. The tips have either come from the BHI's Horological Journal or from some of the many postings on the Internet. Where possible various ways of achieving a repair are given so that YOU can decide which suits you best. The hints and views given are not necessarily those endorsed by the BHI, but we have tried to weed out any which we would condemn out of hand.. Also included is an index of the practical articles published in the Horological Journal. BHI members can request copies of these articles directly from the BHI for a small fee, please quote the issue date as well as the starting page number.
Items from the Horological Journal generally will not be published on this web site until about a year later. If you want up to date help, join the BHI Now.
